MY APPROACH

DESIGNING SPACES THAT ENGAGE THE senses AND EVOKE emotions

Spaces are felt, not just seen. I explore how light, material, colour and scent shape our emotions, perception and connection to a space. Combining my fine arts background with architectural design experience and an ongoing exploration of perfumery, I create thoughtful interiors that engage the senses and evoke a lasting feeling.

"EWA IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. THIS IS OUR SECOND PROJECT TOGETHER, AND I CANNOT IMAGINE WORKING WITH ANOTHER DESIGNER AT THIS POINT! SHE TAKES ALL OF YOUR REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES INTO ACCOUNT AND PUTS THEM TOGETHER IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY. SHE IS TRULY GIFTED. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT SHE IS VERY COMMUNICATIVE AND KIND. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS & FEEL VERY LUCKY THAT I CAME ACROSS HER AND HER SERVICES! THANKS AGAIN FOR ANOTHER AMAZING PROJECT!"

ABOUT ME

My approach to design has been shaped by a life lived between cultures, cities and creative disciplines. During my studies in Milan, I had the opportunity to learn from Michele De Lucchi, an icon of Italian design. I later worked alongside renowned architects such as Cino Zucchi and Maurizio Lai. Living and working across Milan, Barcelona, Zurich and London has influenced how I see space, materials and the way I live.

With a background in fine arts and the ability to speak four languages, I am drawn to different perspectives, atmospheres and ways of living. I currently work with a Zurich-based interior design studio, creating high-end residential interiors for our clients. My work brings together conceptual thinking, thoughtful material selection and a sensitivity to the details that give a space its character.

Alongside interior design, I have a growing passion for perfumery. I enjoy exploring both natural ingredients and aroma molecules, creating accords and finding inspiration in nature. This curiosity has deepened my interest in how our senses shape the way we experience a space. I’m drawn to interiors that feel as good as they look, through natural materials, beautiful light and the small details that make a place memorable.

WHAT INSPIRES ME

I’m inspired by the interplay of light, natural materials and atmosphere, the sensory architecture of Peter Zumthor and Juhani Pallasmaa and the quiet simplicity of Japanese design. I’m drawn to imperfection, tactile surfaces and the beauty of things left understated.

The Mediterranean landscape surrounding my second home on the coast of Barcelona also shapes my eye - its earthy colours, sun-washed textures and effortless connection to nature.
